Rodeo Ranch Dressing

You may think I’m weird. I HATE ranch dressing. I have never liked it. The one exception that I find somewhat pleasing is when it is mixed with hot sauce in a buffalo chicken wrap or some such meal. However I LOVE vegan ranch! I’m not sure why, but I do! The good thing is I try to somewhat limit my dairy intake and this is dairy free. I think ranch connoisseurs would say this might taste less “rich” but I think it’s great. The first time I had vegan ranch was at Native Foods when we lived in California. I really miss dipping my fries in the Rodeo Ranch dressing, so I was delighted to have found the recipe. Try it on raw veggies, salad, sandwiches, wraps, and (my favorite) as a dipping sauce for seasoned French fries.


Native Food’s Rodeo Ranch Dressing

1 cup Veganaise
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
¼ tsp black pepper
2 tsp. chopped parsley
½-1 cup soy milk to thin

Whisk the first 5 ingredients together. Whisk in milk to thin the dressing to your desired consistency.
