Paris to Moscow

I’m back! Sorry it took so long, but we have finally settled into our house in Royal Oak, Michigan. The dishes are put away, and we have pretty much caught up on lack of sleep and gotten over the colds. (It is a bit of a switch going from perpetually temperate California weather to suddenly shoveling snowy driveways!) I am so happy to be here and am excited to post new recipes out of this kitchen! (We found a nice, cozy house that does have that “freakin awesome” stove!) This drink was originally meant to be posted in time for Valentine’s day but it didn’t happen. However, champagne is usually brought out for celebratory reasons, right? And we are celebrating a new life in our new home, so here’s to new beginnings!

We originally had this cocktail a few years ago in one of our favorite bars in downtown Cincinnati, The Righteous Room. Paris to Moscow, champagne & vodka. It’s a perfect way to elevate sparkling wine to something a bit more exciting and flavorful. Cheers!

4 oz. champagne
½ oz. Stoli Razberi
fresh raspberries

Pour champagne and Stoli Razberi into a champagne flute or your favorite glass. Add a few fresh raspberries and raise your glass, here’s to new beginnings!
