This is a nice treat to have for breakfast, for a snack, or for dessert when you are trying to stay away from the sugary goodies! It is deliciously filling. I prefer to use frozen bananas, so that the drink is nice and cold like a smoothie. I usually buy a bunch of bananas, let them get nice and spotty, then peel and freeze them individually in plastic wrap. They’re great for treats like this banana milk, or for other fruit smoothies. If you want to use a fresh banana, lessen the milk to ¾ cup. I make this with plain soy milk, as I don’t drink cow’s milk, but feel free to use whatever milk you like!

1 cup milk
1 frozen banana (at peak of ripeness before freezing), sliced
a pinch of freshly grated nutmeg, plus more for garnish
Put the milk, banana, and nutmeg in a blender and whip until the mixture is smooth and light. Pour into a tall glass and grate some nutmeg on the top. Drink with happiness.
